The crypto custody fee will be deducted from a so-called charge account. By default, this is the client’s CHF fiat account at Bitcoin Suisse. Clients may contact their Relationship Manager to appoint another account held at Bitcoin Suisse – either a fiat or a crypto account – as their charge account. In case you choose a crypto account as your charge account, kindly note that you cannot appoint a staking account or a Vault account.
The crypto custody fee will be deducted on a quarterly basis from the charge account in the respective fiat- or cryptocurrency. In case the charge account is not a CHF account, the accumulated CHF amount is converted to the charge account currency using the end-of-day rate of the last day of the quarter.
