- What is a 2FA?
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security system that requires two separate, distinct forms of identification in order to access something. In our case, you are asked to identify yourself with a separate device to ensure the security of your online account with more than your username and password. The chosen 2FA-application generates a new 6-digit code every 30sec, which gives the client access to log in.
- How do I set up 2FA?
Now you are asked to set up your Two-Factor Authentication.

- Ensure that your Google Authenticator is synced correctly.
It may happen that you receive an error message even though your Google Authenticator is set up correctly. The reason could be that the internal time of your Google Authenticator is not synchronized. A re-sync of Google Authenticator is fairly straight forward and will not change your device’s Date & Time Settings.
On Android:
- Go to the main app menu (three vertical dots).
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Time correction for codes.
- Tap Sync now.
On iOS:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone home screen.
- Tap General.
- Tap Date & Time.
- Disable Set Automatically option and re-enable again.
- Reboot your device.
